Voltage USA made a surprise announcement for the Nintendo Switch and Steam release of Havenfall is for Lovers, a game previously available on the Lovestruck mobile app. The story follows a young woman living with her sister who suddenly goes missing. While searching for her, she notices that the town where she has lived all her life is nothing like what she knows: every person she tries to talk to turns out to be a monster. The only persons willing to help her are supernatural creatures too, but friendly one at least!

I’m not too familiar with this saga, but reading about the game made me think of the infamous Twilight books. The heroine is also close to supernatural creatures even if she’s a human.

Havenfall is for Lovers is the fourth game from the Lovestruck mobile to be ported on console and PC, after the most recent releases Love & Legends and Gangsters in Love. A lot of games from Lovestruck are still missing  —like Starship Promise, Queen of Thieves, Sin With Me… —but Voltage USA seems adamant to port them and is doing it more quickly too since the announcement for Love & Legends was just 3 months ago.

Just like the previous Voltage ports, the games don’t have all the Seasons made available. In other words, there is still content unavailable. For Havenfall is for Lovers, six Seasons are available out of the ten that were in the Lovestruck app. Six love interests are in the game, with two women and one non-binary character.
