Capcom has announced the third installment on the Monster Hunter Stories turn-based game series called [Twisted Reflection]. This seems like a more “mature” title than the previous ones, given the tone of the story. The protagonist and characters are older too.

You play as the heir to Azuria, leader of the Rangers and the only one in the Kingdom capable of riding a Rathalos, a legendary dragon long believed to be extinct, until one mysteriously hatches from an egg. This hopeful discovery was quickly ended when a second creature emerged from the very same egg: a Skycale Rathalos, a best responsible of the downfall of nations 200 years ago. If this wasn’t enough trouble to take care of, a preoccupying phenomenon called the Encroachment is steadily spreading to cities and engulfing everything in crystal. In your quest to confront those threats, you’ll be accompanied by the princess of Vermeil, Eleanor.
