MangaGamer announced during the Anime Expo 2026 the localization of the BLVN lesson, one of the latest work from the parade studio which is known for games like NO, THANK YOU!!! and Room No.9.

From the synopsis to the art, it seems to be in the same vein of Room No.9, and for good reasons since the artist is the same (Nikaidou Shino) and the writer too (Sawa Masaki). It seems to focused only on the two characters Kento and Takafumi and their psychology, with no side characters. While the premise of the story may seem like a cute start for a fluffy romance (at least in my mind…), my experience with Room No.9 and how gloomy everything looks tells me that parade will find novel ways to wreck my heart and sanity! Although it does seem a lot less intense than RN9 was, simply from the vibes I’m getting from those 3 screenshots and the cover. I mean, how worse can it get?

About lesson

On a chilly, rainy night in early spring, Kento heads home on his bike. Just six months ago he was released from his second stint in juvenile detention, but he, now twenty, had finally settled into his job.

“Mess up again, and it won’t just be juvie next time.” The warning flits through Kento’s mind just moments before colliding violently with a car. He blacks out, seriously injured.

Upon regaining consciousness in the hospital, Kento finds himself face-to-face with the driver of the car: Takafumi. Kento has no one he can rely on during his recovery, so Takafumi suggests they live together while Kento recovers from his injuries. Seeing a man who didn’t judge him for his naivety and clumsy speech, Kento begins to open up to Takafumi and accepts his offer. From that day on, the pair become closer than they could ever imagine.
