Searching for a peaceful farm life, a fresh mountain breeze, and your own market stall? Look no further than the friendly community of Zephyr Town! Here you’ll grow crops and raise animals, get to know the locals, and sell your wares at the town’s bazaar to restore it to its former glory.

Marvelous has announced the first DLC for Story of Seasons Grand Bazaar [Pine Overfly Set DLC] featuring exclusive outfits. The game isn’t even out yet, but it’s for a great cause: all the proceeds will go to the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, an organization dedicated to protecting wildlife. The DLC is a direct reference to the pine hoverfly, an endangered species in the UK that was saved from extinction thanks to a successful breeding program funded partially by Marvelous themselves in 2020.

This is a tasteful collaboration in my opinion and a wonderful way to support an important cause at our small scale. It’s also a fitting collaboration for a farming sim that thrives on creating a cozy, nature-inspired atmosphere in the digital world, while at the same time supporting efforts to protect the environment in the real one. The DLC will be available accross all platforms on the game’s release day.
