Infold released on August 27 a new trailer for the 1.9 version of Infinity Nikki, offering us a glimpse at the new house system!
Here’s a breakdown of what we can see and expect to come:
5 areas to build houses
It seems like Nikki and Momo have earned quite the reputation in Miraland, to the point that they are being gifted an entire island. And not just a small one, since it has no fewer than 5 different plots. This means you can technically decide to have 5 houses, or just 1 and huge expanses of fields. With this much space to fill, I can imagine that we’ll have a lot of furniture and decoration options.
One thing that I’m still wondering is if there is going to be terraforming, or at least if we could add and move rocks, trees, roads and so on. We’ll have to wait and see!
Invite your friends over
You’ll also be invite friends on your island and give them gifts. But it’s not clear yet what can actually be gifted. In the trailer, it looks similar to the wishing bottles from the Sea of Stars, but since we’ll unlock a new ability outfit to gather stars, it may turn out to be something different than we’re used to.

5 new ability outfits
This is the first that we’re getting 3-stars ability outfits. That means no evolution, no glow-up and less dye palettes. This is a bit of bummer and franckly I don’t really understand this choice since the level of details makes them look like 4-stars anyway. Some of them reuse capacities from other outfits. We can see Nikki in the Star Collecting outfit fishing, and using a purifying spell while wearing the Planting attire. Maybe that explains the downgrade.
Like all the recent ability outfits, they will be limited to the Floating Island zone.
Here’s a description for each of them:
Construction
Grants the ability to freely construct and decorate, letting countless ideas flow from your heart to build the home of your dreams.
Planting
Grants the ability to grow crops in Home. Nurture each seed with care, and in time, the miraculous gifts of the earth will be delivered.
Fish Keeping
Allows you to keep fish in your Home. Nurture them with care and watch them swim freely, creating gentle ripples across the water.
Animal Inviting
Grants the ability to listen to the songs of animals, weaving flowing notes into letters of friendship, and inviting animal companions to visit Nikki’s Home.
Star Collecting
Grants the ability to collect meteorites—capture every twinkling light and discover the miracles brought by the stars!
A little fun fact: these outfits actually got sneakily teased on their social medias with chibi drawings! Maybe we can expect more “drip marketing” like this from now on?

Farming and gardening
Plants we can gather in the outer world can now be cultivated, along with new flower species like tulips and hyacinths in different colorways. Just like in Animal Crossing or Hello Kitty Island Adventure, there seems to be a crossbreeding system that gives us “glow-up” flowers.
Crops will grow in real-time, the teaser shows one that takes about 30 minutes to fully mature.

A new husbando in town: Orlon (or Orion?)
Finally a new male NPC who’s as stylish as Giovanni and Tan Youyou. His design feels a bit too elaborate for a simple majordome stuck on an island, but it’s possible that we’ll only seem him there… Hopefully we get the chance to invite him to our house… for some tea of course! (and a few impromptu photo sessions)

A huge… onion?
The trailer ends with Nikki and all her friends gathering around what looks like a giant onion, with stems hanging down and glowing bulbs. I have no idea what it’s supposed to represent, but it must be important since it’s surrounded by paved paths and flowerbeds.
A new type of horse
We also see a horse with a saddle and bridle. One of my biggest regrets (well, “regret” is an exaggeration, but still!) in Infinity Nikki is not having the bike or motorcycle ability outfits. Poor Nikki ends up walking everywhere! But surely this means we’ll finally be able to ride wild animals, right? Maybe through a secret ability outfit that hasn’t been announced yet?
