Explore the world with your walking house, crafting supplies along the way as you purify nature, ridding the world of pollution.
Netmarble, best known for their mobile games and MMORPGs, made a surprise announcement for their new project called Bloomwalker, a cozy crafting game. Right of the bat, the visuals look straight out of a Level-5 game and you can clearly feel the clear inspiration from Studio Ghibli movies. In fact, the resemblance to Howl’s Moving Castle is hard to ignore, as your journey begins with none other than a moving house!
Now I don’t recall the movie well enough to remember if there was a subpoint about climate change, so that may be where Bloomwalker deviates from its inspiration and gets a bit more creative. Your role will be to cleanse the world from the filfth, heal nature and form new bonds along the way, as you’ll meet new fairy-like friends called Oddlings. The core gameplay loop revolves around cleansing the world and crafting furnitures to decore your home. A co-op feature will let your friends join your party and visit your travelling house.
No release date has been disclosed for the time being.
